MISS DAPITAN 2006 GUIDELINES 1. The delegate must not be less than 16 nor more than 22 years old on June 21, 2006. 2. She must be single (never been married) and without a child, must be of good moral standing, with pleasing personality and in good mental and physical frame up. 3. The delegate should not be less than 5 feet and 2 inches tall, able to communicate fluently in Cebuano and able to converse in English and Filipino. 4. She must be a resident of Dapitan City (legal or actual) or her parents are Dapitanon, resident or non- resident of Dapitan. 5. She must have a barangay sponsor, institution, organization or agency. She must not be adjudged 1st placer in any beauty contest in Dapitan City of equal category or stature to the Miss Dapitan. 6. Barangay cluster should at least submit two candidates. The candidates will have lectures on personality development, beauty care and make-up workshop. However the sponsor may hire a beautician to oversee their candidate/s Miss Dapitan activities and on the pageant night. 7. The committee will take charge of the swimwear, pair of shoes, casual wear, and at-shirt for free. The Candidate's sponsor shall take charge to all other things needed during the Miss Dapitan activities. . 8. The presentation night and talent competition is set on July 16, 2006, and coronation night will be on July 23, 2006. 9. The delegate must abide the contest rules and regulations and must participate in all activities laid down by the contest organizers in connection to the search for Miss Dapitan. 10. She must possess genuine love and appreciation for Dapitan City and its people. Is willing to act at all times in a manner befitting a beauty contestant. If she wins the contest, she must act befitting a queen as an ambassador of goodwill to all Dapitan ladies and the Dapitanons. 11. The sponsoring group or agency and the delegate itself must abide by the decision of the board of judges, which is final and unappealable.
