Operation Timbang	City Health Office/ City DECS/ Nutrition Division of Mayor's Office	conducted annually from January to March, this program monitors the physical well-being and nutritional status of children under six years of age
National Cancer Consciousness Week	City Health Office (January 21-25)	a public awareness and information campaign program focusing on the prevention and early detection of all forms of cancer
Sinulog sa Dipolog	LGU Dipolog, Dipolog Parish/ City Tourism Council/ City Information Office/ City Tourism Office (Every 4th Saturday of January)	an annual gathering of devotees of Señor Sto. Niño, honoring and thanking Him for His countless blessings. The celebration is conducted during His feast day and is highlighted by streetdancing and offering activities which draws a huge crowd and doubtlessly one of the most colorful events of the year
Heart Disease Prevention Month	City Health Office/ Integrated Provincial Health Office/ NGO's (February)	this program focuses on healthful activities and information campaign on cardiovascular related diseases and prevention. This event is being observed on the month of February coinciding with the Valentine's Day celebration
National Dental Health Week	City Health Office/ City Mayor's Office (February 4-8)	a dental health awareness program focusing on children under six years old, it is usually started with a distribution of free toothbrush. This activity is also augmented by physical fitness program.
Leprosy Control Week	City Health Office (February 18-2)	another health program that addresses leprosy-related diseases, control and medication.
National Women's Day	City Health Office/ City Social Welfare and Development Office/ Women's Group in Dipolog	conducted every 8th day of March, this event focuses on Women's Rights and the advancement their personal development as well as their role in the community.
World Tuberculosis Day	City Health Office/ NGO's/ CO's (March 22)	an advocacy program on tuberculosis-related diseases and public awareness and information campaign on tuberculosis prevention.
Fire Safety and Prevention Month	Bureau of Fire Protection of Dipolog and Zamboanga del Norte/ Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dipolog/ Mayor's Office/ City Information Office/ Office of the Building Officials/ City Planning and Development Office	a month-long fire safety, prevention and control program aimed at saving lives and property, this event is highlighted by activities related to extensive fire safety such as information and education campaign, actual fire drills, media campaign and monitoring of fire hazards.
Civil Registration Month	City Civil Registrar's Office/ City Information Office (March)	an annual activity of the LGU where it extends to the local constituents, especially in the far-flung barangays, free civil registration for purposes of legal identification and database of civil registry information. This event coincides with their founding anniversary celebration conducted every 27th day of February
Women's Month Celebration	City Health Office/ City Social Welfare and Development Office/ Women's NGO's (March)	a month-long celebration centered on women's participation in the national developmental process, highlighted with talent and cultural shows, sportsfest, health, nutrition and safety motherhood promotion, food and trade shows, education and skills training, demo classes and women's suffrage assemblies.
"Katkat Sakripisyo"	City Tourism Office, City Tourism Council, City Information Office	an annual sacrificial activity conducted every Good Friday in observance of the Holy Week where Catholics enact Jesus Christ's suffering through the fourteen (14) stations of the cross. This event has drawn crowds especially the religious, contemplating and completing their sacrifice by climbing through the 3,003 steps to Linabo Peak at the height of 243 ft. above sea level (half-way to the peak) and discover a panoramic aerial view of Dipolog City.
"Katkat sa Dipolog"	City Tourism Office/ City Tourism Council/ Dipolog Outdoor Society	an exciting and exhilarating mountain climbing and trekking activity during the Holy Week observation, for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts discharging their energies through the long and winding paths of woodland, streams, water shed areas and lush vegetation and rolling rugged terrain. This activity lightens up the spirit of balanced exercise and nature tripping along the mountains of Cogon Eco-Tourism Park, Pamansalan Reforestation Site and Linabo Peak.
World Health Day	City Health Office (April 7)	a coordinated observance of universal health through the conduct of activities for the welfare of the local constituents. This event is highlighted by medical/dental outreach program as well as vitamins and vegetable seeds distribution.
Earth Day Celebration	City Environment and Natural Resources Office - Dipolog/ City Agriculturist (April 22)	an environmental awareness program focusing on the protection and sanitation of our environment highlighted by tree planting, mangrove planting, street and shoreline cleaning activities and forum.
AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day	City Health Office/ NGO's (May 20)	an annual commemorative activity of the LGU in memory of people who died of HIV/AIDS and for those who are suffering with the disease. This activity is highlighted by a various fora on HIV/AIDS, and other prayer activities.
City Fiesta	Holy Rosary Cathedral Parish/ City Tourism Office/ City Tourism Council/ NGO's	one of the major church celebrations in Dipolog in honor of St. Vincent Ferrer, Patron Saint of the Sick, where devotees and believers gather and dance in front of his statue (tudturudtud), offering their ailment or thanksgiving to him for healing or blessings received through his intercession. This religious activity, conducted every 4th Saturday of the month of May each year, has attracted not only believers and devotees throughout the Province but also visitors/tourists, to receive healing graces from him.
Independence Day Observation	City Mayor's Office/ City Information Office (June 12)	one major activity of the city government commemorating the Filipinos' struggle for independence. Declared as a national holiday, employees and officials from the city government, provincial and national government agencies and members of civil societies in the community converge at the Plaza Magsaysay to commemorate the patriotism and martyrdom of their forefathers who sacrificed their lives to gain freedom from external dominion.
No Smoking Month	City Health Office/ Barangay Health Workers/ Barangay Captains/ NGO's (June)	an extensive promotional campaign on cancer awareness and the links of the disease on smoking.
Dengue Awareness Month	City Health Office/ Barangay Health Workers/ Barangay Captains/ NGO's (June)	a month-long extensive promotional campaign on dengue prevention and control, and actual elimination and destruction of breeding sites of mosquitos especially dengue-borne mosquitos.
Nutrition Month	City Mayor's Office/ Nutrition Division/ City Agriculturist/ City DECS/ City Information Office/ Barangay Health Workers/ Barangay Captains/ NGO's/ City Health Office (July)	this activity aims to heighten public awareness and education on the significance of proper nutrition in achieving a healthy mind and body. it is highlighted by mass supplemental feedings to pre-schoolers and school children, distribution of Vitamin A capsules, and medical outreach activities
Pre-Celebration of Adlaw sa Dipolog	City Government of Dipolog (June 25-30)	a week-long preparation for Adlaw sa Dipolog Celebration, highlighted by a series of activities leading to the main event.
Tribute to Public Servants	LGU - Dipolog (June 30)	a major highlight of Dipolog's Founding Anniversary celebration, this activity recognizes the long and faithful service of government retirees and also those outstanding civic-minded individuals or organizations/ associations who have contributed much to the development and progress of Dipolog.
Adlaw sa Dipolog	LGU - Dipolog (July 1)	a celebration of the founding anniversary of Dipolog as a municipality on July 1, 1913 with Pascual Martinez as the 1st Local Chief Executive. Since then, the anniversary celebration has been highlighted by cultural presentations, sports activities and the selection of Mutya sa Dipolog as Ambassadress of Goodwill for the city.
Pagsalabuk Festival	LGU - Dipolog (July 1)	an integrated celebration of merriment where "the east meets the west" and highlighted by street dancing in Subanen costumes, agro-trade and food fair and cultural shows.
Mutya sa Dipolog	LGU - Dipolog/ HRAD (July 1)	a beauty pageant activity highlighting the City's founding anniversary celebration. This prestigious event have helped boost public relations and tourism for Dipolog.
Buwan ng Wika	City DECS (August)	a month-long celebration of historical and cultural activity that focuses on nationalism giving emphasis on Filipino - as the country's national language.
Sight-Saving Month	City Health Office/ Association of Optometrist in Dipolog (August 1 - 31)	a month-long support program of the Department of Health that intensifies public awareness on eye problems. This activity is also highlighted by a medical outreach, mass detection of eye diseases and disorders or problems.
Science Art Competition (Elementary Level)	City DECS (September)	a development awareness and competition activity for elementary pupils integrating art in science activities and interpreting the work of science and technology through art.
Crime Prevention Month Crime Prevention Week	City PNP (September) City PNP/ NGO's (September 1-7)	a month-long awareness program based on the PNP's Program Thrusts - K.A.I.S.A. ( 1. KEEPING readiness of Police Units and Personnel; 2. ADMINISTRATIVE Efficiency and Integrity of Personnel; 3. INTERNAL Security Operations Support to the AFP; 4. SUPPORT to Development of Community and Gender Awareness; 5. ADVOCACY of Crime Prevention and Suppression through Community Oriented Policing System. These events are highlighted by symposiums, fora, promotional campaign through media exposures, personnel empowerment and procedural efficiency and operational effectiveness and efficiency in its fight against criminality's.
Civil Service Month	Provincial Civil Service Office/ LGU Dipolog (September)	a month-long recommitment program of civil servants where service pledges are formulated containing the LGU's specific and doable commitments in the delivery of basic and front-line services to clients. This is highlighted by other activities such as People's Day, Familiarization Tour of Government Agencies/ Agency Exhibit; Renewal of Commitment to service and Recognition Day.
National Tourism Week	City Tourism Office/ City Tourism Council (September 21-27)	a program of the Department of Tourism observed simultaneously and annually by all local government units throughout the country. Support services are also extended by the private and business sectors and is highlighted by cultural shows, information-education campaign on tourism awareness programs, beautification and cleaning activities and environmental protection activities.
Family Week Celebration	City Social Welfare and Development Office (September 21 - 28)	a week-long celebration focused on strengthening the family, as a basic unit of society, highlighting special activities such as family day camp, family forum, familiarization of children in the workplace/business of parents, and cultural presentations.
Alay Lakad	LGU Dipolog/ Alay Lakad Council of Dipolog (September)	a one-day physical fitness and fund raising activity intended solely for the benefit of out-of-school youths in Dipolog and implementing welfare programs such as scholarship grants, self-livelihood, skills training and leadership development.
Elderly Week Celebration	City Social Welfare and Development Office/ Senior Citizen's Association of Dipolog	a special activity intended for the welfare and benefit of Dipolog's Federated Senior Citizens highlighting consultations, dialogues, forum on their rights and privileges, extension of health care programs to them and other physical, mental and social activities.
City Fiesta	Holy Rosary Parish of Dipolog	a religious festivity in honor of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Patroness of Dipolog Parish, highlighted by a procession of the faithful around the city's main street and ends with a celebration of the Holy Eucharistic Mass. A month-long daily rosary is recited at the Plaza Magsaysay for several intentions.
Universal Children's Month	City Social Welfare and Development Office (October)	a development program geared towards the welfare of preschool children and shoolchildren. This month-long activity is highlighted by skills development activities and skills competitions from purok level to barangay level, and has received positive response from the community.
Scouting Month	City DECS/ Boys Scouts Council of Dipolog (October)	a skills development program of the Department of Education Culture and Sports that enhances the physical, mental, and spiritual development of young and adults alike, who are members of the scouting movement usually highlighted by outdoor activities.
Garantisadong Pambata Month	City Health Office (October)	a month-long health promotion program specially designed to meet the needs of preschool children and is highlighted by nutri-feeding, distribution of vitamins, immunizations, distribution of toothbrushes and toothpaste and other health and dental promotion activities.
Cooperative Month	City Cooperative Office (October 16 - November 15)	a public awareness program of the local government unit which focuses on responsible self-sufficiency livelihood and stresses on unity to achieve the goal of economic upliftment. This particular activity is highlighted by maximum promotional campaign through media blitz, seminars, and hanging of streamers.
Pasko Sa Dipolog (PASADI)	LGU Dipolog/ City Tourism Council (December 16 - 31)	a Christmas entertainment presentation involving the 21 barangays of Dipolog and civil societies highlighting cultural shows, competitions, gift-giving to the underprivileged, display of lighted firecrackers/pyrotechnic devices, and other entertainment activities/merriment for the holiday season.
Rizal Day	LGU Dipolog (December 30)	observed annually every 30th of December in observance with the death anniversary of the country's national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, and is highlighted by flower offering at the foot of his statue.
