Now that Umra kato and Bravo are running out of running space, we can hear calls for negotiations or relief of hostilities from both sides coming congressmen and religious groups which were not incidentally Muslims. We also heard the bluffs of Eid Kabalo and the other pronouncements of so called Muslim scholar who was first and foremost a Muslim too. When the government was studying on how to deal with the Muslims, I believed they had listened too much to Muslim scholars. They listened to the point of views of Muslims and had NEGLECTED the views of CHRISTIANS (Mindanao Christians) who after all had the cultural experience/immersion with them and also will be greatly affected of dire consequences from eventual government misjudgment. The government/leaders then had the messianic belief that the moros were just simply misunderstood Filipino tribe somewhat similar to hyperactive children. They believed that by giving them (moros) some extra concessions they will be thankful; would be satisfied and will let peace reign on Mindanao. That’s what Fidel Ramos had showed or inclined to have that belief. Also we must understand that he (Tabako) dreamed of receiving the Nobel Peace Award. Although it could be also argued that Fidel knew that the Peace pact could only last on his term (when the cash was still there). Thereafter as expected trouble had erupted again. We also had witness in our television station one so called peace advocate (CIA?) who declared that the problem in Mindano is solvable! Jesus! Case of man acting like God! How? by giving Mindanao to the MOROS? This so called peace advocates whom we don’t know if they have hidden motive are treating us simply as idiots or morons. The only sane people who would wanted peace in Mindanao even with so much cost as giving up our liberty, freedom and our dignity, our lives are the Businessmen (generic term) who would always gain in whatever times! How can the government achieve peace by negotiation when in fact what the Moros wanted is impossible for the government to give? We Christian people of Mindanao must not clamor for negotiations with the moros because every time there were negotiation the Moros always gains while the Christians loses.. They now have ARMM, Camps, integration, recognition,etc. Therefore then the more negotiations the more the Moros gains! Add comment  EntryNo: 63  Date: Monday 23:55 25.08.2008 John john Thank you Bravo and Umra Kato Now that many of the victims of the recent Bangsa moro people’s “means” to achieve their Ultimate “ends” were buried, I hope that I am not wrong in my assessment that finally the Christian people, had confronted themselves; and had swallowed the stinking pill of reality that unless they will not Transform their Meekness, the time will come and it is not too far away and not far fetched that they will all be bending their knee to the moros asking for mercy. It’s been a known fact in Mindanao that the ultimate goal of the moros ( they called themselves/Bangsa moro) is the grabbing of whole Mindanao. The Moros will not stop until their goals will be achieve and no incoming peace pact or agreement is ever sufficient but the total surrender of Mindanao. Every agreement that will be forged is just a stepping stone closer to their sinister goal. How come that a minority had made the majority to froze for such a long time? During the time of Muhammad, he too had problems with the willingness of his soldiers to face danger in combat. To make them brave he stressed on his teaching that to die for the religious cause will reward a person straight to heaven. Maybe he was right, we may agree, but later on it is greatly misused. The terrorist, including the recent perpetrators of crimes in Mindanao were shouting religious chants and had the brazenness to call themselves religious fighters when in fact they were not, and were only fighting a political war of land grabbing. Were they ever been suppressed and not allowed to practice their religion? They may had used the poverty prevailing in muslim areas as results of oppression when in fact these were results of their having not spent much time on their farms as results of their being easily provoke to violent confrontations. Now for the Christians why are you so meek like a lamb? You a re not the Lamb and do not aspire to be what you can not be! Practically there is something wrong in the Christians interpretation of what is good and what is bad. It is bad when you have killed some body because you intended to but it is not a crime and a not sin if you had killed somebody or some bodies if the direct purpose of the act is to preserve your sacred self and the sacred selves of your love ones! The important thing is about what is on the “heart” and not on what had come out from the “lips”. Try to look for a country that had not for ones had use the necessary force to defend itself.. In parting may I say that the Christians now should wake up and be assertive and be ready to show that everybody has the universal right to life and universal right to defend it.Do not entrust you future to the hands of politicians for they may don’t know what they are doing.
